Supporting Social Change

We believe thoughtful philanthropy is a two-way exchange. Those who receive gain access, opportunity, and dignity. Those who give gain something harder to name — a shift in perspective, a deeper sense of responsibility. This belief shapes how we work — with our clients, and as a firm.

We direct our own efforts where access is the core problem: education, global health, systemic equality, and the development of low-income communities.

We place particular emphasis on supporting talented young women and their families.

Our work extends across Switzerland and internationally. Local responsibility and global perspective reinforce each other.

Our Commitment

As a firm, we commit an equivalent of at least 10% of our profits to charitable initiatives—in direct funding, pro bono work, and the expertise we add.

Beyond capital, we bring legal and fiduciary expertise. We serve on the boards of charitable foundations, act as trustees of charitable trusts, and help structure philanthropic endeavors so they are effective, sustainable, and true to the values of those behind them.

Through our Friends of Conduct initiative, we regularly bring together a community of globally minded individuals — to exchange ideas, and to support causes that matter.

We work with a small number of carefully selected organizations. Many of these relationships have grown over years. All of them reflect causes close to our hearts.

Child’s Dream

Since 2003, Child’s Dream has worked to improve access to education and healthcare across Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand — reaching more than 1.3 million people. It addresses the interlocking challenges of limited schooling, inadequate healthcare, and constrained economic opportunity with the kind of long-term commitment that actually changes outcomes.

Fabulous Urban

Operating between Zurich, Lagos, and Stuttgart, Fabulous Urban applies research-driven design to one of the world’s most underdiscussed problems: sanitation in underserved communities. Their mobile dry diversion toilet is not a workaround — it is a rethinking of what safe, dignified infrastructure can look like.

U-GO

U-GO funds long-term scholarships for ambitious and promising young women in low-income countries to pursue higher education. Its premise is simple and true: Talent is universal. Opportunity is not. U-GO works to close that gap, one young woman at a time, and is on track to award 10,001 scholarships during their first five years as an organization.

Wir Lernen Weiter

Digital exclusion is real, and it starts with hardware. Since 2020, Wir lernen weiter has collected, refurbished, and redistributed more than 20,000 laptops to people in poverty across Switzerland — turning unused devices into genuine tools for inclusion.
